Tend a heart and plant a seed
Lend a hand to one in need
Grow a garden and share its fruit
No deed considered too minute

Take a walk in another’s shoes
Respectful of opposing views
Compromise without complacency
Strongly disagree respectfully

A change of heart a frame of mind
Consider passing change in kind
Kind to all we may meet and greet
Prepared to serve and wash their feet

Work with a purpose, with cheerful heart
Crafting quality in every part
No job or position too mundane
None too elite, to smirk or disdain

Hold on to the good, forgive the wrong
Soothe a soul with a comforting song
Care for the aged and treat them well
Learn the wisdom only they can tell

Honor and serve with humility
Giving all that live full dignity
No life is created, lived in vain
All life is precious and foreordained

Trust what is noble, true and right
Walking by faith and not by sight
Changing the world is simplicity
Changing the world – begins with me

Regardless the place, moment in time
May the grace of God complete this chime
